Although this was last year, we have just remembered that we had to do a risk assessment and lodge it with our local council because we had access to a shared kitchen in out building.
We did a notice asking all people to refrain from putting the kettle in the sink if either the sink was full of water or the kettle was plugged in. Seriously though there are quite substantial fines for failing to comply with health and safety issues
